History of the Company
Gary Mueller, the current President and CEO founded
Internet Securities, Inc (ISI) in 1994. He raised
$12.5 million venture capital to finance the expansion
of this rapidly growing company.
The Service started with the information product
for Poland that as for now is one of the most
profitable assets of the company among other 38
products covering 46 emerging markets.
In January 1999 Euromoney has bought out ISI's
original venture capital investors as well as
injecting $11 million of new money into the company
via a new issue of ISI preferred stock.
Growing interest to the emerging markets economies
and rising demand for the service on behalf of
customers and prospects brought ISI on the track
of functional optimization.
In September 2001 Internet Securities, Inc. has
launched new interface and platform for its flagship
Emerging Market Information Service. The functionality
of the service has been retooled with new and
improved graphics, simplified navigation, and
faster, more comprehensive search results. Changes
in interface design reflect the company's commitment
to ease of use and rapid access to information.
It is designed now to deliver results in 3 mouse
clicks as the standard. Subscribers can opt for
subscriptions to single country databases, or
select access to multiple county or regional packages.
Specific country database has sub-sections focusing
on News, Company Data, Industry Data, Financial
Market Data, and Research Reports.
As a further development of the functional capabilities
of the powerful ISI IntelliFind Search machine
in March 2002 a new project was launched to enable
customers to find answers from within ISI vast
information resources - quickly and with pinpoint
accuracy. A milestone agreement was signed with
Nstein Technologies Inc. "Nstein" (CDNX:
EIN), a leading developer of innovative linguistic
intelligence business solutions.
ISI Emerging Markets strategy for the next years
is to maintain position as key and undisputable
suplier of information on Emerging Markets all
over the world.
