Mr. David Harper established GEODRILL in 1998 and in just over a decade GEODRILL has become one of the most prominent institutions for quality, efficiency and safety bringing an influx of technology and knowledge that contributes to the industry in general. Today the mining industry in Ghana stands for 5% of Ghana’s gross domestic product and 37% of total exports. On the theme of social responsibility, the mining sector directly contributes to poverty reduction and Millennium Development Goals (MDG) by furthering employment opportunities for locals, which is one of the goals of the government.
