Established in the Republic of Kazakhstan in late
1994, Scot Holland Estates (SHE) today has a network
of 3 branch offices in each of the strategically
important cities of the country. The headquarters
remains in Almaty the former capital and principal
commercial center. Further active branches operate
in the new capital Astana plus the north Caspian
city of Atyrau where much of the oil & gas industry
development is at an advanced stage. An additional
presence in Bishkek, capital of neighboring Kyrgyzstan
confirms a strong strategic growth in this important
emerging region. A dynamic British real estate service
provider, SHE offers "Optimal Property Solutions'
to its client base of major national and international
organizations operating in the area. Commercial,
industrial, residential and retail space is all
within the company portfolio. A highly trained,
educated and motivated team forms the 'backbone'
of an enthusiastic and resourceful organization.

The company provides a comprehensive property brokerage
service for lease, purchase and sale initiated by
client request and specification. All transactions
have full legal and administrative support, followed
by processing through a customer service department
who resolve any subsequent issues related to the
property or contract. Both lease renewal and rent
review advice is provided to tenants and landlords.
The consulting division provides market analysis,
financial feasibility studies, property valuation,
'highest and best use' determination, cost-benefit
studies, pricing and rent projections, market surveys/research,
and architectural design. |
Scot Holland Project
& Property Management (SHPPM) provides professional
property management for all property types to ensure
effective building operation, maximum cash flow,
and increase of asset value. The project management
team provides the following expert technical supervision
on construction projects: project definition, scope,
budgeting, due diligence, planning and scheduling,
cost controls, and network analysis/critical path.
In September 2000 the company commenced a Building
Management contract for Samal Towers, the largest
and most prestigious "A Class" office
building in Almaty. As at March 2002, the occupancy
level is 98%.
Additional Landlord representation contracts are
in place with the Kazakhstan-British Technical University(KBTU)
located in the Old Parliament building, and TZUM
who also have high quality office space for lease
in the center of the city.
SHE is the principal service provider for Healey
& Baker in Kazakhstan. The company is also organizer
of "Ideal Home & Garden Exhibition"
every spring. An international Real Estate Conference
was added to this event in May 2002. June 2000 saw
the launch of "Property" magazine in the
Russian language through another subsidiary (Scot
Holland Publishing). This quarterly journal is the
market leader.
