BRIEF HISTORY

Vakufska Banka DD Sarajevo was established in September 1992 as a private commercial bank based on the primary principles of modern banking. Its headquarters was and remains located in Sarajevo. The Bank\'s shareholding capital amounts 44,010 thousand KM and is comprised of 97.4% privately owned capital of which 55.1% represents domestic capital and 44.9% foreign capital. The remaining 2,6% of the capital is state owned capital incorporated under the privatisation process.
