total, Polina, Lda has constructed 12 Guest-Houses
which are located in Miramar, Kinaxixi, Maculusso e
ilha de Luanda.
The objective of the company is to achieve total cus-
tomer satisfaction; making the customer happy and
by assuring them they are paying fair value for the
quality and service they receive.
The main clients of the company are Chevron (Cab-
inda Gulf), Ponticelli, Schlumberger, Halliburton,
Vetco Gray, Sonasurf, Subsea 7 and LSG.
The employees of Polina, lda mainly consist of
Angolans that worked in the Armed Forces. These
Angolans haven’t had opportunities to study. Polina,
lda contributes to the educational development of its
employees by providing them with training and tech-
nical courses.
The focus of Polina, lda for the next five years is to
grow qualitatively. The high level of quality can be
considered as it primary strength. Polina, Lda has
created a loyal relationship with its customers who

Probetão has an important standing in the Angolan
construction industry. The company started in 2005
with the intention of providing the Angolan industry
with quality reinforced concrete materials. Probetão
is a company that can pride itself on previous experi-
ence with similar projects as they benefit of a long
experience in the field of civil construction and public
works.
Probetão currently manufactures a varied range
of building products including concrete slabs, rein-
forced concrete, concrete cylinders and concrete
cones. These are just a few of the raw materials
they are able to provide to their individual clients
as well as multinational companies. The 60.000 m2
manufacture and modern equipment allow Probetão
to produce new material that would fit specific re-
quirements of the Angolan market.
The company’s philosophy is to invest in its em-
ployees in order to reach the demand of production
which helps the company deal with the local market.
It achieves this result by investing time and energy in
hiring employees from abroad: highly skilled people
with experience in the industry, which results in the
production of quality and hi-tech material.
Probetão currently has 45 employees and this
number is looking to increase in the fourth coming

Angola: Luanda, Benguela, Lobito, Huambo, Uige,
N’Dalatando and Saurimo. Other projects of exten-
sion abroad give a clear indication to the expected
growth in the next few years.
