The values and principles of Media Nova are:
Independence: this value is the essence of the
reputation and the practice of the group.
Pluralism: The group tries to reflect the existing
diversity in the country with respect to the cultural
and economical values, the wealth in Angola and
the different political demonstrations.
Quality: Media Nova demands quality in eve-
rything it produces and distributes. This can be
seen by the innovative approach of the group, the
rigorous pursuit of truth and consistency.
Media Nova also emphasizes on social responsi-
bility and aims to contribute and participate in the
growth of Angola by assuming its obligations to the
society.
They are committed to:
provide educational content
transmit information and knowledge to Angolans
generate employment in the media and distribu-
tion sector
In the short term, Media Nova wants to improve its
distribution by installing 17 kiosks, spread out over
Luanda. The group also wants to strengthen the
distribution to the provinces as they are difficult to
reach. This distribution however will be outsourced
to a specialized company.
This year, in 2011, Media Nova will start integrating
its television and newspaper content and information
in order to create more coherence between the two.
Furthermore, in the years to come, Media Nova
will start to unify all the separate companies of the
group.
