Bengo is a very attractive place to invest in sustain-
able tousim opportunities. Located on the coastal
strip and easily accessible by road from Luanda, it
is a great place to go to relax during the week-end.
The region offers many attractions: the beautiful
beaches of Ambriz, Pambala, Sangano and Cabo
Ledo, ruins from the colonialism period, vast humid
forests and more.
There are good spots for fishing cacusso or tilapia
in Bengo and Dande rivers whilst Cabo Ledo and
Ambriz are famous for crustaceans.
Beaches usually get crowded on week-ends with
surfers. If you plan to stay there overnight, it is highly
recommended to book beforehand.

to stay overnight to visit Kissama Park the next day.

busy on week-ends. If you wish to stay overnight,
we recommend you to book way in advance. Many
people camp there during the week-ends. For good
seafodd, try the Pescaria dos Queirós.

NATIONAL PARK OF KISSAMA:
Major attraction of
Bengo province, the Kissama park was initially set
up as a hunting reserve and has become one of the
largest park in Africa with a total superficie of 990
000 hectares. If you are lucky, you may be able to
see elephants, red antelopes, monkeys, giraffes, ze-
bras, a wide variety of exotic birds and many more.
It is highly recommended to stay overnight even
though a day trip from Luanda is possible if your
leave early enough to avoid traffic.
