Could you fill us in on the background of KEK and give a description of your responsibilities?

KEK is established as a public company. It has a vertical structure of 4 core divisions, i.e. Coal production, Generation, Distribution and Supply. Some years ago KEK started the process of unbundling, by outsourcing eight none-core activities from the company. In 2005, out of KEK another company was established – KOSTT - which is responsible for transmission operations in Kosovo. Today, it operates independently of KEK.
