VISA REQUIREMENTS |
The visa policy for entry into the Russian Federation
changed in December 2002.
It is now difficult for businessmen and tourists
to enter Russia; the visa process is long and sometimes
difficult but not, however, impossible. The process
can be longer or shorter depending of the kind of
visa, your nationality and the fee.
For tourists, the following documents are necessary:
· A valid passport;
· Valid medical insurance and a photocopy
of the insurance certificate;
· A completed questionnaire with one photo;
· Confirmation of hotel accommodation (pre-paid,
not reserved);
· A return flight ticket.
For business travellers, the same documents are
needed, except for the hotel accommodation but,
and this is very important, you will need an official,
registered invitation letter from a Russian company.
For one-year visas, the Russian government also
requires an HIV test certificate from the applicant. |
