KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM) is an international airline operating worldwide. Its home base is Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, one of the most modern mainports in the world. KLM forms the core of the KLM Group, other members being KLM cityhopper, KLM uk and Transavia. Founded in October 1919 KLM Cía. Royal Dutch Airlines is the oldest airline company that still operate under its original name. KLM offers a wide variety of aircrafts in various cabin configurations. KLM aircraft are deployed according to passenger supply and demand per market, and according to aircraft availability.

These factors may vary per season, per day and, for some destinations, during the day. On majority of flights, KLM operates two cabin classes: Business Class or World Business class and Economy. On a number of destinations, however, only one cabin class is offered.
