Presentation of Steinert Industries

Interglass activities go from textile manufacture and raw cotton processing to glasswork and procurement of equipment for oil and gas extraction industries. In this direction, they are doing business with companies and entities from more than 30 countries of the world, and more than 3,000 people work in its subsidiaries in Great Britain, Germany, USA, Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

Today STEINERT INDUSTRIES is an investment and industrial group acting in the markets of Central Asia. During a few years of its activity STEINERT INDUSTRIES has realized with success a number of investment projects, including the most renowned ones such as: in Uzbekistan - construction and equipment supply of oil and gas extraction industries projects, reconstruction of the old oil and gas fields and development of the new ones; in Kyrgyzstan - construction and start-up of the raw cotton processing plant "Glaeser-Dunay-Naryn" in Aksiy area of Jalal-Abad region, construction of the raw cotton processing plant "International Cotton Group" in Nooken area of Jalal-Abad region, acquisition of controlling stock of nonwoven fabric production plant "Mata" in Jalal-Abad, reconstruction of a glasshouse in Tokmak town.



STEINERT INDUSTRIES is engaged actively in construction and procurement of oil and gas extraction industries projects in the Republic of Uzbekistan, in enhancement of the old oil and gas fields and development of the new ones, in delivery of compressor and processing equipments, pipeline accessories, metal-rolls, in export of different oil and gas industries products of Uzbekistan.



In 2001, the company opened its representative office in Kyrgyzstan. The main objectives of this office are to represent the company's interests at Kyrgyz state bodies, to carry out marketing researches, to organize smooth production flows and to sell produced outputs.

In the nearest future STEINERT INDUSTRIES GmbH & Co, KG is going to realize in the country a number of other investment projects.

Presentation of Interglass




STEINERT INDUSTRIES is the owner of the biggest glasshouse in Central Asia, INTERGLASS. Its history is only of two years: during the period of 2000-02, under the company "GLASINVEST" and its best experts, INTERGLASS has carried out reconstruction works, renovation of major production and technical facilities.

The manufacture is located in the industrial zone of Tokmak. 15 production facilities of the plant are situated on its area. Also there is a well-developed infrastructure, which enables to deliver raw materials directly to the glasshouse and to load final products on the railway and road transports.

One of the main tasks of "INTERGLASS" is to provide Central Asia and Russia with perfect-quality glass, and enter the market of Asian continent.



Production
The present production capacity of the factory enables to provide market with a wide range of window glass, sheet glass for furniture and mirror production, armored and reflective glass production, auto industry and decoration works. Kitchen and fancy glassware and other products will be planned for production.

The project number of employees is 1500 people. At the moment, the Floatglass factory "INTERGLASS" Ltd already employs 1100 highly qualified workers and specialists. As our production volume grows, the number of people employed will increase. Project data:
· Melting furnace bath - total square 573sq.meters/630 tons per day (24 hours)
· Width of glass ribbon - 3.9 meters
· Glass melting tin bath - 57.0 meters, capacity - 221 tons of tin with annual renewal - 12.6 tons
· Annealing furnace - 122.4 meters
· Production capacity - 20 million sq. meters per year (in 4 mm calculation)



Products:
· Sheet glass of quality standard GOST 111-2001, quality marks M1-M5, thickness 3-10 mm. Sheet size ranges from 1300x1600, 1300x1900, 1605x2100, 1605x2300 and 2250x3210 mm;
· Polished sheet glass: GOST 111-90 M1, M2, M3 quality marks, thickness 2-18 mm. The formats of produced sheets: 1300x800, 1300x1600, 1300x1900, 1605x2100, 1605x2300, 2350x2950, 2500x3210 mm, and also according to customer order

· Windowpane GOST 111-90, type M4-M5, from 2mm to 19 mm thick. Sizes of windowpanes produced are 1300x1600mm, 1300x800 mm, and 3210x4000mm. Also it may be executed a sample order of a consumer.
· Plate glass GOST 111-90, type M7-M8, 6.5 mm thick. The plant produces a plate glass of the size specified by a consumer.
· Assorted and fancy glassware. The certificate of conformance No.KG147/02/02/0174 confirms the quality of fancy glassware.
In addition, the plant production capacity enables to produce a wide range of glasses for furniture and mirrors, as well as bullet-proof glass, triplex, decorative and dimming glasses.
Sheet glass is packed in irreturnable wooden containers. Dispatching of production is made by railroad directly out from Tokmok and Bishkek city warehouses.

Our glass is used for the production of:



· Furniture glass
· Mirrors;
· Armored glass;
· Automobile glass;
· Air-sand injected (decorative) glass;
· Stained glass.
· Plastic windows and profiles

Renovation of the plant

For the time being, STEINERT INDUSTRIES is completing renovation of this plant and is installing the advanced equipment of the leading world producers. Essential parts of the Engineering are:



· The modernisation of the batch/cullet charging system and the adaptation of the process control system
· Optimisation of energy consumption of the furnace
· Instruction for the fuel distribution of the individual burners
· Technical solution for the emergency heating system
· Technical solution for the product handling (cutting, packing, warehousing)

Cotton Processing in Kyrgyzstan

Glaeser-Dunay-Naryn was founded in 1997 as Kyrgyz-German Joint Venture. In 1998, STEINERT INDUSTRIES built and put into operation a raw cotton processing plant "Glaeser-Dunay-Naryn". According to the experts' appraisals the technical equipment of this plant is considered to be the best one in CIS.



Its production capacity enables to process about 15,000 tons of raw cotton. The technique of the plant provides output of A grade ginned cotton not below 33%. The quality of ginned cotton is complied with the proper international standards and is verified by certificates of quality and conformity. Today we are exporting ginned cotton to Austria, Czechia, Germany, Holland, India, Russia, South Korea, and Baltic countries as well.

More than 400 farms and entrepreneurs command raw cotton processing services of our entity and their number is increasing every year. With the object to establish a good working partnership with its suppliers the entity provides them with monetary and goods credits every year.

Also STEINERT INDUSTRIES built and put into operation a cottonseed oil production plant with estimated capacity of 20 tons of cottonseed per shift.



Textile Manufacture in Kyrgyzstan>

STEINERT INDUSTRIES GmbH & Co, KG acquired controlling block of shares (66,07%) of a nonwoven fabric production factory "MATA" in Jalal-Abad. (This factory was put into operation in 1993. The production facilities of the factory occupy the area of 8 hectares and the total number of its staff is 200 employees). MATA is one of few factories able to offer to its consumers the following webs:



· Netcol - nonwoven sewing fabric 2.05 meters wide used as a warp for linoleum, textolite, laminated plastic. Annual output is 500 thousand meters per year.
· Packing fabric 1.8 meters wide. Annual output is 500 thousand meters per year.
· Batting 1.8 meters wide. Production capacity is 200 thousand meters per year.
· Needle punched fabric 1.8 meters wide. Annual output is 200 thousand meters per year.
