The Zambia 1ational %roadcasting Corporation
(Z1%C) operates as a public television and radio
broadcasting corporation. The compan\ transmits
radio and television programs in English and other
languages. Z1%C, based in /usaNa, offers two
television channels, Z1%C T9 and T92, which are
broadcast to maMor population centers. Z1%C has

Zampost is a public postal operator established b\
an Act of Parliament and mandated to provide postal
and courier services. The 3ostmaster *eneral is the
Chief E[ecutive of the Corporation and has a team of
five senior management staff heading different direc
torates in the corporation. The Zambian *overnment
has

, the Zambia 3ostal Services Corpora
tion (ZAMPOST) was created under the Postal Ser
vice Act No. 24 of 1994 after the dissolution of the
3osts and Telecommunication /imited, which basi
call\ separated the postal activities from telecommu
nications activities.
In August, 2009 the Postal Services Act No. 24 of
1994 was repealed and replaced with the Postal
Services Act No. 22 of 2009, which provides for the
regulation of the postal and courier services, contin
ues the existence of the Postal Services Corpora
tion, and provides for the operation of postal banNing
and financial services.
